AboutInheritanceThe Inheritance trilogy is books about a boy, Eragon, and his dragon, Saphira and their fight to save their land, Alagaesia, from the evil emporer, Galbatorix. The first book, Eragon, starts out with Eragon finding Saphira's egg outside his tiny village of Carvahall. Eventually the egg hatches and becomes Saphira. Then the Ra'zac come and destroy Eragon's home and kill his uncle, so he has to flee with the old storyteller, Brom, and Saphira across Alagaesia to the Varden. From there the story is about him battling the Empire and becoming a fabled Dragon Rider.
